Sand Dune

2 years ago this sand dune north of Perth was one of the best dunes around for unique formations and as it’s not visible from the road and has no access it had always remained untouched so we finally made the trip up on the weekend, over the last 2 years the unique formations had gone but still a pretty good shot. [4 image stitch, Canon 1dmk4 24-70mm 2.8]

This massive peice of mining equipment was heading through Perth streets on Saturday morning on it’s way up north and we were asked to gather some images on it’s journey, here’s some shots heading along Gt. Eastern Hwy and across the Redcliffe bridge and the bottom image is taken along the Gt. Northern Hwy.

The Nissan/BRW Corporate Triathlon was run again yesterday morning in front of the city on the Esplanade, approx. 2,500 entrants this year.

Riviera Variety Splash 2011

The 2011 Riviera Variety Splash left Fremantle for Busselton on Thursday in a 5 day trip around the south west and we managed to get some shots as they left. All images will be available for veiwing and purchase on the Heliwest website soon, we shot some video as well which should be ready next week sometime! Shot on the 1D mk 4 from Heliwest’s 105.

Trigg Beach wave

This is a shot from yesterday at Trigg Beach of a massive backwash that hit an incoming wave, probably one of the best backwashes I’ve seen – shot on the 1D mk4 with 15mm in the Aquatech housing.
